EliteCalc watch faces privacy policy

This policy covers the EliteCalc watch faces for Wear OS: Chrome Vault (com.elitecalc.watchface), Steampunk (com.elitecalc.watchface.steam), Open Skeleton (com.elitecalc.watchface.skeleton), Gold Wire (com.elitecalc.watchface.jewel) and Matrix Rain (com.elitecalc.watchface.matrix). They are made by Factodus and published on Google Play under the developer name “Factodus”. “We” in this policy means the developer.
In short
The watch faces collect no personal data, and we store none on servers and share none with anyone. They have no analytics, no ads, no tracking and no accounts, and we run no servers for them.
How a watch face works
Each watch face is written in Google’s Watch Face Format: a description of images and animations that Wear OS draws itself. The app contains no program code of its own, requests no permissions and has no internet access, so it cannot read, store or send anything.
To move the shadows when you tilt your wrist, Wear OS reads the watch’s motion sensor while it draws the face. The readings stay inside Wear OS on your watch and never reach the app or us.
What stays on your watch
The style you pick in the watch face settings, such as colors and dial, is saved by Wear OS on your watch. Complications you add show data from other apps on the watch, such as steps or battery level: Wear OS draws it on the face, and it never reaches us. Removing a watch face removes its settings.
Purchases
Each watch face is a paid app bought on Google Play. The purchase is made and processed by Google Play, and Google’s privacy policy applies to it. We never receive your card or other payment details.
Like every developer on Google Play, we get sales reports from Google (such as order numbers, prices and the country or region of each purchase) and anonymous crash reports. We use them only for accounting and to fix bugs.
Children
The watch faces are not directed at children under 13, and they collect no personal data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
